Also, you didn’t say what kind of dress I was wearing. Was it sort of a party cocktail dress? Or more of a ball gown? It was actually sort of a cool leather dress a la The Matrix. You know, something kind of like this. In fact, I would say you looked exactly like that. With a short pink wig, like this. And you had a spray can in your hand. You were bad-ass. In a Matrix/Resident Evil/Hannah Montana/I-would-never-want-to-see-that-movie-in-a-million-years kind of way. :) I think I now have post-traumatic stress. You're still bad-ass, of course. I had the weirdest dream about you the other day. But instead of dwelling on the unspeakable horror of it all, I decided to use it as an opportunity to promote your story collection, which I am feverishly looking forward to.

That, and I thought it would be funny to introduce myself to one of my favorite science fiction writers by saying that I had a strange dream about them. :)
